There once lived in the safari plains, a pack of hyenas, and among this pack was a young boy named Kojo.
Kojo was the runt. He was small. He wasn't the fastest nor the strongest, but instead made up for all this by being the smartest and most clever.
But, his brothers didn't seem to make him feel smart or value his help.

Kojo's Home
Kojo
and
Brothers
"Who needs to be smart when chasing gazelle?"
"Yea, c'mon Kojo,
catch up!"
""All you need to be is strong like me!"
Wait up guys,
I'm coming!
One day after a successful hunt, Kojo and his brothers began to feast.
Soon they all began to laugh out loud in celebration. Kojo being the most aware, told his brothers, "Stop it brothers, if we are loud, we'll attract the lions and they'll come to steal our food."
"Relax Kojo," said one of his brothers, "You always worry," said another.
But Kojo's pleas were a little too late, as the lions had indeed heard the laughs and were coming.
"What a feast!"
"Tasty!"
"Did you hear that?!"
"It's those darn hyenas, lets go find them and take their food!"
The lions had arrived and it looked bad for Kojo and his brothers. Filled with hungry eyes, the lions told the hyenas "Give us your food or fight us for it!"
Scared and knowing they stood no chance, Kojo's brothers said,
"Let's just scram."
"I guess today is not our day."
"Darn lions."

But Kojo stood firm. Instead he had an idea. He walked up to one of the lions, whilst winking at his brothers, and said, "We won't fight you guys, but I have another challenge."
"Whoever can roar the loudest, will get the food." The lions simled at one another and knowing the lowly hyenas could never match their roars.
Kojo and his brothers neverously gave their best roars, but could only muster laughs.
The lions stepped forth and gave their mightiest roars and shook the plains and set animals scattering, putting Kojo's brothers
in awe. But Kojo wasn't the least bit worried.
The End
"Beware of those who laugh at at nothing and everything"
-Arnold H. Glasgow
"Ha ha ha, What a weak roars!." belted one of the lions.
"Did you really think that you could outroar us, the kings of the jungle," said another.
"I guess not" said Kojo confidently, "Lets go brothers."
Kojo and his brothers, soundly defeated, were now on their way home.

Kojo smiled and when they were a safe distance away from the lions, told his brothers to turn around and look.
"..dum...dum,dum....Dum, Dum, Dum....." It was a wildebeest stampede! Kojo had known that the lion's loud roars would frighten the wildebeest and send them running.
Soon the lions were scrambling, falling, forgetting their food, nearly getting trampled by the wildebeests.
Now Kojo began to laugh. After the wildebeests had gone, Kojo and his brothers were able to return to their food. And young Kojo was given the best pieces, for he truly deserved it.
"You did it Kojo!"
"We always had faith in you!"
"What would we do without your smarts, young brother!"
